Duplication of the existing sewer pump station including 8.5m diameter sewerage pumping wet well, installation of 3 submersible pumps, valve and flowmeter chambers, switchroom building, motor control centre, standby generator, overhead electric crane and all associated pipework and controls.

Ridgemill was engaged by Council as Superintendent to administer the construction contract.  This project involved construction adjacent to an existing operating sewage pump station that is a major component of the Council’s sewerage system.

The works included sinking an 8.5m diameter caisson in poor ground conditions, piling, connection to live sewer main and extensive MSCL, reinforced concrete, PVC and glass reinforced plastic pipework.
