Initially engaged to assist Logan City Council in determining project feasibility, including cost assessment and specialist programming, Ridgemill provided key input to achieve funding through the Queensland government Department of Sport and Recreation.  Upon securing funding, Council secured Ridgemill’s services to manage project delivery, including community consultation, design management and construction contract administration.

With a highly engaged community and range of user groups with varying needs, stakeholder consultation and collaboration became key to successful delivery within the funding bodies strict timeframes.  Ridgemill developed a delivery strategy specifically aimed at gaining early stakeholder ownership, commitment and sign off which enabled the project to progress unencumbered.

The resulting facility is well-utilised and includes three heated pools, a 25m multi-function pool, a hydrotherapy/learn to swim pool and children’s adventure pool.
